It’s been pretty cold this week and that’s perhaps causing a bit of cabin fever for some Chicagoans. This weekend will be warmer and should be perfect to get out and enjoy Snow Days at McCormick Place.
The annual festival hosts snow sculptors from around the world who compete to create the most spectacular masterpiece.
Begining at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday visitors can enjoy voting for their favorite sculpture, viewing penguins from the Shedd Aquarium, painting snow, and children can enjoy free snowboarding lessons.
Follow your day in the snow with a nice meal at one of Chicago’s top restaurants, as it is also Restaurant Week!
