The South Loop’s annual street fest is celebrating its 10th anniversary this weekend! The Bash on Wabash, organized by the Greater South Loop Association (GSLA), has a goal
of bringing neighbors and businesses alike, from near and far, to a festival that showcases the beauty, creativity, history and culture of the South Loop.
This year will be bigger than ever. Over 30 vendors will have booths lining Wabash Avenue from 13th Street to 14th Place offering goods and programming for all ages.
An expanded kid’s area will offer activities ranging from face painting to hula hoop lessons, drum circle, bounce house, live music, balloon artist, arts & crafts, circus lessons and more!
The Bash isn’t just for kids however, fitness classes will open each day (Bring Your Own Mat), live music will entertain throughout the weekend, and there will be free sumo wrestling, a mechanical bull, and a tarot card reader on site.
