There is a chance of March coming in like a lion and out like a lamb this year. The snowstorm we had is already melting and Sunday is predicted to be 50º. With a 50% chance of rain it could be a perfect day for a parade.

At noon on Sunday March 10 the South Side Irish Parade will return to the West Morgan Park Neighborhood. A tradition since 1979 the parade is a family affair celebrating children, faith, and heritage. It has a sweet background story that can be found on the official site here.

The parade will march down Western Ave from 103th St to 115th st. It is suggested to park at least four blocks away. Alcohol is strictly forbidden.

For more detailed information about the parade visit the official website.
